Volcanic Ash Policy
OUTBOUND
- If flights are cancelled because of the volcanic ash situation, we will not charge cancellation or amendment fees, as long as agent/client formally notifies the supplier or HTX (using the relevant contact numbers as per the booking vouchers) 2 hours prior to the scheduled outbound departure time.
- Assumed/presumed cancellations will not be accepted pre or post travel, and as such HTX reserves the right to charge as per our normal cancellation policy. Similarly any cancellations or amendments not attributable to volcanic ash situation will be charged as usual.
INBOUND
- If clients are already in resort they will need to notify the supplier or HTX (using the relevant contact numbers as per the booking vouchers) 4 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time and advise as to whether or not they still wish to use their transfer back to the airport, amend to a new date or cancel.
- Transfers supplied as per the booking will be charged
- Amendments will be done free of charge
- Cancellations will not be charged on the proviso we are advised as above
